/Meet Alex

Alex is a California-native who currently lives in Dallas, Texas with his fantastic wife. In the past, he’s been responsible for creating, developing and executing national brand awareness campaigns and has enjoyed developing personalized marketing and promotional plans. Alex studied advertising and marketing at Pepperdine University and has enjoyed working in the field ever since. He has played soccer since he was 5 years old and is a strong believer that with hard work and dedication, anything can be accomplished.

/What I do

My experience as a digital marketer has allowed me to develop into a strategic thinker. Distribion ranks among the fastest growing technology companies year after year. Distribion’s flagship product, the Distributed Marketing Platform, was developed to help B2B organizations more efficiently manage and measure their distributed, multi-channel marketing strategies with a single integrated platform, which we also use in-house to manage our marketing campaigns. In my current role, I work hard to engage fellow marketers to create qualified leads in all stages of the sales funnel by designing thought-provoking content that is both detailed and tested using this platform with our overall brand strategy in mind.

I also have experience in the realm of B2C marketing strategy. In 2010, Nonpareil Farms acquired the license from General Mills Inc. to sell fresh produce under the Betty Crocker name. My position was responsible for creating, developing and executing national campaigns to create awareness of the Betty Crocker brand among consumers. I enjoyed developing personalized marketing and promotional plans and because we integrated a strong traditional advertising presence with a creative social media experience, Betty Crocker produce grew from regional participation to national sales with various grocers, including Wal-Mart and Kroger. I have also designed comprehensive sub-licensing contracts that provided growth in our overall margins and royalty performance, and am confident in my ability to help set and reach goals in an effective and professional manner.


I have developed entire advertising campaigns where I have researched the target market, compared the competitors, made positioning statements, established comprehensive calendars for product maturity, collected primary data, and designed advertisements for all mediums.


I am experienced with computer software (Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, MS Office, video editing) with exposure to
HTML and Javascript.


I understand that consumers are not all alike. One item I have implemented for the Betty Crocker fresh product line is the integration of web analytics and listening tools online. The ultimate goal of listening is to learn how an audience receives and digests information so that the brand can properly target them.
